Infact, I think the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan will make my list of 'My Biggest Inspirations of 2015'.
Recently honoured at the 2015 Glamour Women of The Year Awards in New York, Caitlyn bagged this honour in recognition for her transgender advocacy works.
This recognition did not really sit well with a number of women who considered it a huge slap on the faces of 'real women' to honour a transgender at this type of ceremony for 'women'. In my first response to all the judgemental supposedly 'real women' out there, what have you done with your original/birth gender that is honourable or even worthy of any recognition? When you are very quick to point a finger at someone for quick crucifixion, make sure you are totally blameless and pure as snow.
I am happy I strive to exemplify a non-judgemental lifestyle, and to approach situations with genuine openness of heart... in my on-going experience, this is the most beautiful, lighthearted and healthy place to be. With every little opportunity I get to spend in front of a television, I watch "I am Cait" on E!, and all I see, is a beautiful soul using her situation to reach out to help people - not only the transgender society but generally and more importantly to persons who don't have any courage to do anything or be true to themselves because of the 'what people might say' syndrome.
I always saw Bruce as someone looking for an opportunity to be relevant, a man dying to live his truth and be truly functional. Until we learn to walk away from our fortune, we don't really have it.
If it took being 'born again' to begin to achieve this, that was his decision to make and the consequences of his choice to deal with - your opinions do not pay any bills.
It is hard to hate, pick on and judge a man whose story you know; Everybody has a story. You too have your own story! Learn to be at peace with yourself, your neighbour and your God.
My final response to all you judgemental folks out there, who hide under religious pretence to lash out at others, is my rhetorical question - What would Jesus do?
