My Happy Videos For The Week...

I love dance, colour, drama, street and everything in between when it comes to music... and these videos just tick all boxes.

Queen Bey, slays as usual but this 7/11 video is so simple, high, fresh, fun and playful; and that is why I love it.

Reekado's Chop Am video is so colourful, youthful and an introduction of a new and welcomed shift in nigerian music videos... I really like to see what more he is capable of doing.  I think he is very talented!!!

M.I like fine wine tastes much better as he ages and returns from the much needed recess.
Personally, I am anticipating the release of the video to my song of the year 2014 - his 'Human Being' track featuring Sound Sultan and Tuface, but this Bad Belle video serves as a matching benchmark for street style and a sure heightening of what we are to expect or not expect from Mr. Incredible.

#iamMIN: Stand Up, Sock Up & Sign Up. Sign Up for the "World's Largest Sock Donation" Charity Party

About Us:

Our company, Blue Frog Creations, is an art-oriented company creating social value through the collective effort of people and organisations for social change, economic empowerment and creative development.

One of the ways we create social value is through a soft toy social business from old socks called Babu:

Each Babu is made to help alleviate some social problems. Thus, each Babu has a ‘built-in cost donation’ to solve a specific problem.
Also, each Babu’s ‘social cause’ is recognisable in its design.  Thus, making it pretty easy for customers to pick and support a specific cause.

We need old socks’ donations from the public to make Babus: to offer them as part of relief materials to displaced children and to raise funds for different causes each Babu is designed for.

See some ready-made Babu designs below:

Babu For The World - #iamMIN

There is a country...

There is a country with 180million people
Which has over 77million as children
Where 41% under 5 suffer stunted growth
And 15million are farmers, servants, hawkers, beggars and forced sex workers
And just somehow, 10.5million are not in school
While 600 pupils at school even have to share a toilet
And that is if they actually make it to school
Because 300,000 are lost to ‘ordinary’ malaria yearly.
Oh! We nearly forgot the children who are part of the 3.3million people displaced by conflicts in their own country!

This country is Nigeria. Yes, the times are hard but a lot harder on the children.
We can save the children. Yes, we can.
We can give the children a happy childhood. Yes, we will.
Stand up for the child in you.

By giving your old socks, you help us create jobs, tackle social problems and bring cheeky smiles to the faces of many children.
Please watch our video http://youtu.be/tKFOxzUYWw4 - soundtrack by Don Jazzy.

Rich Man of Yesterday

So I was deeply inspired to write this short piece from one of the superb articles, yet to be published, by an esteemed contributor to my newsletter - eikõn, owned by my firm.

This is an admonishment from my musings - 89th Constellation.

Image subject to international copyright and licensed to BlondeDolly Image Consulting

O'lowo Anaa (Rich Man of Yesterday)

Rich man of tomorrow, open your ears that thou mayest see different levels of wealth.
Rich man of tomorrow, be meek in elevation, that thou mayest reach in your life uncommon greatness.
Sudden was the end of a man who by himself declared arrival the moment he could afford himself a little luxury.

Howbeit you rich fool, you forgot so easily how you climbed onto years of faith, hardworks and charity - sound the gong - the epiphany.
To eat hot food don't you remember how you must eat at a pace lest be burned and numbed of taste thy tongue?

Rich man of tomorrow, success knows no final destination how much more a self declaration of a crystallized state;
A little heat and you melt, same with your riches and you evaporate...
not even to return to your lowly old state, because you glittered-all-gold without substance.
Rich man of tomorrow, take heed lest this be your measure, never forget indeed your days of humble beginnings.

Take heed Rich man of tomorrow, lest the rich and even the poor by fate together accuse you of a poverty-stricken mentality... glamorised mockingly, the 'Rich Man of Yesterday'.

Be Your Own NEPA! “Arnergy” Boss – Femi Adeyemo – tells us how.

You will agree that the issue of Power or Electricity is a very sensitive and serious issue in Nigeria, and so, any individual proffering and championing lasting solutions towards this cause deserves celebration, encouragement and attention from varying positive platforms including ours.

Femi Adeyemo is a result-oriented entrepreneur with versatile experience gained across a variety of sectors. He is particularly skilled at coordinating the deployment and operation of large scale infrastructure projects, ranging from Solar Energy to Telecommunication and has provided solutions to multinational companies across Africa, Europe, South America, the Caribbean and the Middle East before relocating to Nigeria to set up Arnergy Solar Limited, the innovative company that provide Nigerians with affordable and uninterrupted clean power supply.  Arnergy, an acronym for Alternative Renewable Energy, provides Nigerians with unending power supply generated from the free energy provided by nature – the sun.

Conducting this interview with Mr. Femi Adeyemo, the Energy Boss has we have dubbed him, was eye opening, especially when we inquired to understand the role of Government in providing stable electricity in the country.  Mr. Femi simply told us that the Government has no business in generating power and this responsibility is private sector driven while the Government only regulates.  This is what is practiced everywhere. He also adds that although the recent privatisation is a step in the right direction, even though feedbacks from Nigerians across the country reveal a worsened situation, the new owners need to have the will to do the right things and be innovative. He mentions that the centralised generation and distribution with the big power plants will not give Nigerians uninterrupted power supply as we still have threatening issues such as gas leakages, vandalisation et cetera, to deal with.

One will not be wrong to assume that Mr. Femi returned to Nigeria to contribute his expertise towards the development of the power sector in his birth country having lived across four continents and enjoyed the possibility of uninterrupted power supply from countries he has lived and worked in, some we even think are not as vibrant and ‘arguably rich’ as the ‘real Nigeria’.  Mr. Femi shares with us what it takes to have stable electricity in the country, and interestingly predicts a possibility of that happening in only two years.  Judging from decades of epileptic blackouts and the current state of affairs in the country, it will be an interesting cum shocking albeit welcome relief if this can be achieved.

[PICTURES] Behind The Scene of 'The Allure Issue' - with Paul Ukonu

So I decided to share the fun behind-the-scene pictures from my photo shoot for the maiden edition of my newsletter 'eikon', with vintage personality and non-conformist celebrity photographer, Paul Ukonu.  Amazing guy, amazing talent with very smooth yet uncommon ways of making a stunning model of the stiffest of his clients, e.g ME.

I was everything nervous, anxious, unsettled and uncooperative during the first few minutes of this shoot and had to literally get rid of his assistant :( even before we began - I don't like pictures and all those studio lights much (...or so I thought).  Paul was just way too much of a professional, focused on breaking the ice, helping me relax, getting value and the best out of me and the entire session. See! In no time, I was laughing, smiling, singing along to my favourite songs which he played off his phone and feeling every inch sexy and daring through to the end of this shoot.

He even gave me a great score out of 10.  Don't ask me what it was!

Click on 'Read more' below to see more behind-the-scene pictures after the cut, plus the beautiful outcome from this photo shoot with my dearest Paul Ukonu (www.paulukonu.com).

Mention Someone Who Needs This ==>>

Take a good look at Ms. Prosper’s image – what did you think?  Hold on to your thoughts while we come back to that shortly.  But please read on.
Prosper - before her transformation

Have you ever wondered why at a gathering, environment or organisation, you can immediately tell who you are comfortable with, who not to speak to, who you admire from afar and even sometimes ask yourself if you really should be in a particular environment?  Fit or misfit, ‘image’ is the perception of a mental concept of a person place or thing.

Nobody will see your Mercedes parked outside or your beautiful home; so, you are judged, evaluated and assessed by your preferences and style alone.  Proven and true, whether you are conscious or not, you give off messages based on superficial evidences collected around you (e.g how you dress, how you look, what you say or don’t say, how you smell, walk, sit, et cetera) which in turn are used to make intuitive yet profound evaluations about you.  Not only that, these collective evidences gathered then inform and dictate how people will respond to you, ascertain your levels of authority and even determine whether you are credible or not. YES!

This is what happens - not life! This is what happens with your business, your career development, your chance at a promotion, your chance for employment, your opportunities for relationships, the sustainability of your marriage, this is what dictates your chance at competing equally in your industry let alone winning… this is what happens when you wonder what is not happening to your finances.  The lustre of your image is gone.

But like with Ms. Prosper, you can get it back! Just read on.

[PICTURES] The Marie Claire Fashion Pop-Up Party in South Africa!

So I shared details of this event in my newsletter eikõn, and it is available to everyone here for free download.

Marie Claire South Africa hosted a fabulous fashionable pop-up party on Thursday, 4th September 2014, providing fashionistas, designers and independent boutiques an atmosphere to party and shop the night away.  The event also created a fun place for everyone about fashion to network. It was held in Cape Town's famous City Hall, with beautiful live music from local artist and not to forget the sparkling wine on offer from one of the sponsors - JC Le Roux. The other sponsor for the event was Vogue Eyewear. There was a lot on display, from shoes, hand made leather bags, to uniquely designed clothing. African printed items were one of the favourites on display, especially the accessories and garments. There was a buzz in the air and the live music made the night extra special.

It was all about beautiful people, lovely food and drinks, gorgeous clothes and fabulous live music; indeed, this was a night event to remember.

UNSPOKEN by Dolamu Badejo

I decided to break yet another 'blogo-pause' period of mine with one of my write-ups from my archives.  This was written and published in April 28th, 2013.  It was really interesting to receive a lot of phone calls and private messages from friends asking me if everything was alright back then over the depth of this write-up... They felt this was tooooo deep and were so drawn into every bit of it.  I laughed and felt fulfilled - Hey! I deal with psychology of perceptions for a living and where somethings are best left unspoken, I am a writer after all. Enjoy and if this speaks to you... Haaa! share a comment. *wink wink*
- Dolly.

~Unspoken~
There’s something I always wanted to say
But times I opened my mouth
The words won’t come out straight
And even when I tried to write instead a text
Eleven out of ten, I hit delete before I send
This don’t mean I am not crazy enough to let you know
It’s just so weird how tis’ you to bring me smile like never felt
Still can’t believe how I let my body down
My hair loose and I fell; fell... fell so hard to the ground
But then I hold on close, cos’ still there’s something you always wanted to say.
...
Times I open my mouth
I see the hurt in your eyes
The tears the bastard – I mean him – left, not dried
But this is my best friend we talking about
So how could I love you on, still so shamelessly?
It is hard enough we already got in this web.
...
But baby we kissed
-I know, even so slowly, your lips so tempting
Didn’t that mean something?
-I am not sure, may be twas just a spur?
Gosh this isn’t you
-How can you tell? I am only human
Stop! You are killing us; you’re killing me
-Babe, we’re only friends; let’s not fuel this tension on.
 ...
And so those words cut me deep and through like a sword
Piercing my heart, burning my eyes, aching my soul
Only these words he never spoke
Cos’ he left... left me without a word
Only that he never left
But his emotions vanished like we never were
And here I am, living with unspoken grief
All for a man who loved but all too brief
Knowing, if he’d only agree, that we could be more
But so far he is here but far gone, and left me sore

Reviewing the Cacao by Maybelline - As a product and tool for Contouring!

Contouring now called Cacao-ing, the new term introduced by Bimpe Onakoya - the Artistic Director for Maybelline, is the rave of the moment derived  from the line of Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Powder called CACAO.  Cacaoing is the art of exaggerating or diminishing facial features and desirably defining the structure of the face.

With other fives shades in the line of the Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in- One Powder; Toffee, Caramel, Nutmeg, Cinnamon and Mocha, I was so intrigued particularly by the cacao sensation and curious to test it on my face and share my personal review on it.
Whilst many may argue that my shade is not the Cacao, perhaps a 'toffee' or anything slightly lighter - even rightly so, but as a contouring 'tool', it is near permissible.

So after a frantic search, I ended up picking two off a Tara outlet somewhere about Allen Avenue, for myself and my makeup Artist. (I am that cool, right!?)

It is important to say that I had the Cacao applied on 2 different successive days and 3 different applications. Upon 1st application, we noticed it was very dark.  But I can say, we gladly found a trick around it, which is to apply very lightly and not generously as though we were rubbing a moisturizer on.  With a 'lighter hand' upon 2nd application, it was seemingly perfect... and we got some desirable results.

What I love the most about the cacao powder is that it doesn't feel heavy on my skin or artificial on the overall; it felt very natural for shading. It was soft on my skin and blended really well into my foundation. And oh! it smells really good.

This is why I insisted on the use of the cacao on my face at the photo shoot of the maiden edition of my official e-newsletter "eikōn" the following day.  Pictures from this steamy photoshoot with vintage personality and classic photographer extraordinaire, Paul Ukonu, will be released soon.

In the mean time, enjoy the fun (who said not so fun?! LoooL) pictures of my face selfie from the trials and successes of applying the cacao. And remember to go get your cacao on, and share your fun experience too.

Dolly's Cacaoing trials...

I will be sharing a concise version of this review in my e-newsletter and you get to win yourselves loads of freebies too!!!

Ruby Bridges - [WATCH] The Full Movie

Watch here, the movie of the real life story depicted of Ruby Bridges - born September 8, 1954 - the first African-American child to attend an all-white public elementary school in the American South.

US Marshalls escorted Ruby to and from school so she wasn't literally lynched
by angry white mob who made violent protests because a black kid came
to an all white school

I cannot begin to describe the humiliation, abuse, ostracization to list the least any 6 year old could go through just because she wanted a better life she so deserved... This post would be useless not to mention the enormous foundation of love woven in the heart of this child by her beautiful parents who taught her to only respond with love, the love of God, to all those that showed her hatred.

Ruby and Obama, at the White House, looking at a painting by Norman Rockwell's
hanging outside of the Oval Office. The painting depicts her walk to school on
the day of school integration in New Orleans

God bless you Ruby Nell Bridges . I celebrate you!!! Perhaps it is ideal to end this post with the fantastic words of Mahatma Gandhi — 'First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win.'

What Country in the World Best Fits Your Personality?

So I took up this really fun quiz by Lara Kosheez, and I wanted to share it with everyone here and also give you guys something to play around with and may be get a nudge in the 'right' direction as to where next your vacation city is or that big career move city should be.  If you end up in a place you don't like, then may be it is high time you needed the services of an Image Coach and Consultant like my self (*winks*) to assess your current personality, image deficiency and help you to develop and tailor your image to the lifestyle desired and deserved.

So Lara says this test will determine which country in the world best reflects your personality and living style. Lara also adds that it is where you will thrive in life the most. Now wait, just because your test result returns Syria does not mean you should develop a heart attack and jump off the bridge - Caution! Caution! Caution! Super disclaimer!!!

Whatever, just take the quiz.
Just so it helps you to feel better, here is the result of my test by Lara Kosheez:

DUBAI
"You are an individual who enjoys the finer things in life, and love to surround yourself with beautiful things. You have a deep appreciation for urban architecture, and thrive best in a city that gives you the highest of nightlife, cuisine, and entertainment.  You believe life is to be enjoyed to the fullest, but have no problem working hard to obtain what you want.  You in fact take pride in working hard, and like to climb in your career.  Others would perhaps describe you as a modernist, who appreciates culture and diversity, but enjoys the comforts of a superbly decorated home and clean living space.  You are an urban dweller and like to enjoy a city where others share your passion for hard work and fine living.  There is a deeper side to you however, and you find meaning in conversation about fine art, travel, and culture."

Make sure you share yours.

[WATCH] FREEDOM - Many voices. One message. #BringBackOurGirls

I am very happy that Nigerian artistes are beginning to return to that 'Fela age' where they now exercise power through messages in their songs - we can do more still.  Grand commendation to all the artistes who came together in this 'Freedom Song' for continued protest and anticipated release of the abducted Chibok girls in the Nothern part of Nigeria by the Boko Haram terrorist group since the 14th of April, 2014.

Earlier today, I read a rather disturbing write up online by Baderinwa Akanji for Nigerian Tribune Newspaper, I share an extract from the reality of his piece:

"It is no longer news that our government has been largely confused and slow in their thinking as to how the menace posed by Boko Haram should be dealt with, and in recent times, that level of backward reasoning has been verily displayed by the cancellation of a planned trip despite the large media coverage and the level of the Nigerian people’s expectation. In addition, not only has our government proven weak and insecure, they have provided a basis for comedy in the emotional outbursts by the First lady.
Amidst all the noise and excitement, I recently began to think deeply of the psychological and emotional aspects of this sad and distressing issue and came to the conclusion that the greater war was yet to be fought and understood; and that despite all the assistance from other developed countries, the Boko Haram issue was more than just another terrorist attack— it was a big crack in the wall of our national integrity and a breakdown of the weak cohesion that had largely kept the north, south and east together. No longer was this an issue of religious and political bias kept under the cover well spoken words and diplomacy. It had become a full-fledged psychological and military confrontation which without any doubt has the backing of powerful men and women hell-bent on turning Nigeria into another broken down society. The real enemy has never been Boko Haram; Boko Haram is just another name  that is designed to catch attention while the real going on takes place in the secret meetings in various high places. This is the reason for the arrogance displayed by this organisation and access to.intelligence that has helped keep it intact. Not to add the fact that their hideout in the sambisa forest, a location the size of Rwanda and close to the Cameroonian border, has made finding them very difficult.
It is now over a month since the Chibok girls were abducted. One month is long time to spend in captivity and our imagination will not suffice to explain all that those girls must have suffered. Also, on an emotional and psychological level, the problems to be dealt with following the retrieval of these girls, whenever that happens, hopefully soon enough, are myriad and without any doubt, are the kinds of problems that cannot be solved in one day.
Post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, psychosis are just a few of such problems. In addition, sexual abuse and the level of brain-washing these girls would have been exposed to would require hours of rehabilitation...
Sad.

"I won't sit next to a negro..."

...that is alright!

Treat everyone with respect and kindness. Love your neighbour as yourself, this is the beginning of a better place to live in or leave behind.

Meditate Tuesday!

WHAT FATE IS THIS?

Many thanks to Ese Peters for his beautiful song with powerful lyrics, the Prayer... soul words for decades.

A lot of unrest around the globe in the last decade, end times or not, lives are lost almost on a daily basis to the hands of terrorists, young women are raped on streets, young brides are stoned to death by family members, some others are condemned to death by their choice of religion, natural disasters, wars and boundary claims, famine, starvation and slavery… our children are no longer safe in schools; converted, killed or kidnapped. A plane with passengers goes missing without a trace.

And daily, we go about our own businesses with no surety of what is next, who will be hit next, and when, when – our ultimate fear, not knowing.

Today, we remember all the 153 passengers who perished this day, 2012, on a commercial flight from Abuja to Lagos, Nigeria, that crashed into a furniture works and printing press building in the Iju – Ishaga neighbourhood, claiming more lives on ground.  We remember you all and pray that your souls rest in the bosom of the Lord.

We pray that peace and calm be restored to our beautiful land, continent and world at large.
We pray this unrest is not for long...not the norm.

Meditate Tuesday!

BlondeDolly held a workshop at Ozanam House

Some days back, I held a 6 hour workshop on Image development and appearance with 22 beautiful women at the Ozanam House, Lagos Nigeria. Ozanam house is a home for homeless, abandoned, teenage mothers, nursing teenage mothers as well as pregnant teens.

The workshop was supported by Work of Art - an arm of Blue Frog Creations, Design Warriors, Iria Makeovers (whom I invited to do free makeovers at the end of the workshop for these young women), Ozanam House and London Image Institute.

It was really inspiring to see these young women regain some confidence in themselves at the end of the workshop, share their goals and concerns without shame.

BlondeDolly Image Consulting is very happy to continue in these kind of works across the continent and the world, and contribute time and knowledge in support of development of the image and restoration of self-worth in individuals across care homes.

A wedding to remember. A union to cherish forever - meet my good friends Tobi and George Agbonlahor

Back in the United Kingdom, Tobi was my flatmate in school and one of the most amazing persons in my life. Very beautiful, funny, warm and a soul sister! I cannot begin to reel out all the love, encouragement and support I have received from this beautiful young woman; it is far too enormous and deep rooted in my heart.  More importantly, I am very grateful for the amazing young, incredibly funny and caring man God brought in the way of my amazing friend - you need to meet George to indeed agree that this is a union divinely arranged and sealed.

This post is long overdue but I celebrate this couple everyday in my heart! Keep shining my wonderful Agbonlahors.

I Like You As A Friend - Off Air With Osi [Episode 1]

If you listen to The Beat 99.9fm regularly, it is hard not to notice Osi; the witty night time on air personality that once used to dominate our airwaves every weekend and make all those Babcock University and Queens College teenagers drool all over the place and shutdown twitter literally... thanks to his relatively insane topics discussed on air, his flirtatious persona and yea! they say his sexy voice too, Hian. Dude was always trending every week because of his shows and more importantly, his ever fresh, current and banging playlists. Shame he is usually on the morning rush shows now, but hey! that is not why we are here.
So this short black friend of mine just debuted his Vlog - Off Air With Osi - with Pulse Nigeria. Earlier today, I asked him if this was supposed to be the "brother code" reply to what Toke Makinwa is doing currently for the sisters?! You bet his response - his occultist laughter.
Watch the first episode right here, and ladies, it is okay to have Osi's head for soup and the head of any others that are finding it hard to accept that they will never be anything to you other than friends. LoooooooooL.

BASED On BEAUTY - Fashion BuzzZer on what DI'JA wore to #Tiwa&TeeBillzWedding

Breadth of fresh air... or maybe I am seriously crushing on the simplicity of this lady, meet my new favourite female artiste - DI'JA.  She is also my VIP of the week, and if my biased self kicks in, she could very well bag the title for a month... Yes! I like her persona so much like that.

So, I decided to break my 'blog-o-pause' with the analysis of Dija's look to the wedding ceremony of Tiwa and TeeBillz that happened in Dubai yesterday 26th April, 2014. I also apologise in advance that Google could not produce any of her selfies at the wedding nor a picture where she was by herself at the wedding; obviously, one could attribute this to her charm and the obvious fact that everyone must have been  famzing her, even her boss Don Jazzy. Hehehehe.

With the new "Lagos Home Ownership Mortgage Scheme", owning a home in Lagos now is as easy as 1...2...3...4...5! easy steps

Yesterday, on February 3rd, 2014, 1pm at the Banquet Hall, Lagos House, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria, His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), flagged off the Lagos Home Ownership Mortgage Scheme (Lagos HOMS), a delivery of an alleged tall promise he made on behalf of his Party during his electioneering campaign, and also another one of the four sectors (Power, Agriculture, Transportation and Housing - PATH) he committed to addressing only 2 years ago.

The Lagos HOMS, will allow Lagosians, particularly the ordinary middle class and working people, a fair and transparent opportunity to own a home and pay for it over a period of not less than 10 years under a mortgage scheme.

In the speech of His Excellency, he said, "For many years, our people have had to acquire houses; often times being required to pay cash once and for all, as if they were buying a shirt or a pair of shoes in a shop.  This approach in part, explains the reason why a large number of ordinary middle class and working people cannot afford to acquire homes on the basis of their legitimate income derived from hard work that rewards the dignity of their labour.
In Lagos State, we have taken the view that a home is not something you buy in one day but over time, in a way that your ability to acquire it is tied to your income and continued prosperity.  Our view of a home is that is it something you pay for gradually and it is a place of safety, well built, safe and sound, to protect you and your family from the hazards of nature such as rain and heat; a place that will not flood or suddenly collapse. An asset that outlives you."

FASHION AT THE GRAMMYs 2014: The Goods, The Not So Good and the Uglys

So last night, I kept my eyes glued to my TV screen to enjoy every bit of the Red Carpet moment at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles; well...since I could not make myself available in Los Angeles, lest I'd be mistaken for Brandy or Kerry Washington, like it was reported they did with Dencia dolled up like/as Nicki Minaj, I have cooked up this review based on what I first saw on TV and later looked closely into from several images plaguing the internet.

Itching to say, I am not very impressed by the stylish-not-so-stylish representations from the Grammys this year...or could it be that the Grammys is losing its higi-haga and people are no longer willing to make the effort to look just as great? or my dear celebrities are simply losing style? I am not sure.  So, straightaway, from the pool of not so great, I have painstakingly managed to fish out the goods, the not so good and the worst dressed (this did not take time) from an evening usually associated with style and expected to be remarkable.

Whilst I am going to leave the bulk of the 'yabbings' to Emmy Collins - trust me, he is the professional at this, you! my dearest reader will get to do the scoring on a scale of 0 -10, starting with Pharrell Williams owing me 10 points in that thing that is apparently 'wearing him'.

Worst Dressed:

Pharrell Williams (-10/10)

Every child begins the world again

Art makes you creative and feel wonderful about the world. What more if this art is from a childlike wonder like we encourage at Blue Frog Academy? It is pure joy.
Thus, our inspiring poem at the Academy reads:
The world is one big art picture
You are a gifted creature
A canvas given
To make this a haven
You are Nature’s curator
A gifted co-creator.
At Blue Frog Academy, a creative art school for 3 to 17 years old persons, we believe that great art does not come from crayons, charcoals or smoke as Salvador Dali delicately paints with but from the artists’ knowledge bank, emotions and the mastery of tools and techniques. Thus, we carefully guide our rich curriculum to provide engaging opportunities for the children to express themselves with like minds, work using different media, and a platform (called ‘Live Project’) for making their talents work for them – where children can develop their skills for financial gains. Correspondingly, we teach parents how to manage their children’s talents.

We certainly also understand how serious playtime is for a child. Of course, we play hard at the Academy too – making soft toys, flying kites, throwing a Mardi Gras party, face painting, singing off key at karaoke contests and other creative play.
