A
lot of unrest around the globe in the last decade, end times
or not, lives are lost almost on a daily basis to the hands of terrorists,
young women are raped on streets, young brides are stoned to death by family members,
some others are condemned to death by their choice of religion, natural
disasters, wars and boundary claims, famine, starvation and slavery… our
children are no longer safe in schools; converted, killed or kidnapped. A plane
with passengers goes missing without a trace.
And
daily, we go about our own businesses with no surety of what is next, who will
be hit next, and when, when – our ultimate fear, not knowing.
Today,
we remember all the 153 passengers who perished this day, 2012, on a commercial
flight from Abuja to Lagos, Nigeria, that crashed into a furniture works and
printing press building in the Iju – Ishaga neighbourhood, claiming more lives
on ground. We remember you all and pray
that your souls rest in the bosom of the Lord.
We
pray that peace and calm be restored to our beautiful land, continent and world
at large.
We pray this unrest is not for long...not the norm.
We pray this unrest is not for long...not the norm.
Meditate
Tuesday!
