My Happy Videos For The Week...

I love dance, colour, drama, street and everything in between when it comes to music... and these videos just tick all boxes.

Queen Bey, slays as usual but this 7/11 video is so simple, high, fresh, fun and playful; and that is why I love it.

Reekado's Chop Am video is so colourful, youthful and an introduction of a new and welcomed shift in nigerian music videos... I really like to see what more he is capable of doing.  I think he is very talented!!!

M.I like fine wine tastes much better as he ages and returns from the much needed recess.
Personally, I am anticipating the release of the video to my song of the year 2014 - his 'Human Being' track featuring Sound Sultan and Tuface, but this Bad Belle video serves as a matching benchmark for street style and a sure heightening of what we are to expect or not expect from Mr. Incredible.

We need old socks’ donations from the public to make Babus: to offer them as part of relief materials to displaced children and to raise funds for different causes each Babu is designed for.

There is a country...

There is a country with 180million people

Which has over 77million as children

Where 41% under 5 suffer stunted growth

And 15million are farmers, servants, hawkers, beggars and forced sex workers

And just somehow, 10.5million are not in school

While 600 pupils at school even have to share a toilet

And that is if they actually make it to school

Because 300,000 are lost to ‘ordinary’ malaria yearly.

Oh! We nearly forgot the children who are part of the 3.3million people displaced by conflicts in their own country!

 

This country is Nigeria. Yes, the times are hard but a lot harder on the children.

We can save the children. Yes, we can.

We can give the children a happy childhood. Yes, we will.

Stand up for the child in you.
